Christina D. Williams, Ph.D.
As a principal and co-founder of the ELI Group, Christina D. Williams, Ph.D. helps senior executives develop the leadership skills and qualities to put them on the path to success within their organizations. With her global perspective in a wide variety of industries, Dr. Williams is a recognized expert in organizational effectiveness and a thought leader for major media including The Wall Street Journal, Harvard Management Update and MSN Marketing Intelligence.
With an innate ability to build trust with the clients she serves, Dr. Williams has a proven track-record with counseling senior executives to success in accelerating business strategies through executive coaching, succession planning, senior team development, and organizational change management.
Prior to co-founding the ELI Group, she was Managing Director for RHR International and worked extensively in the areas of leadership assessment, selection and development. Dr. Williams has also worked as a corporate psychologist for Kaiser Permanente and served on the faculty of San Francisco State University teaching courses in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and Leadership Selection & Assessment.
Dr. Williams received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. She received her Master’s degree and Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley. She is a licensed psychologist in the state of Texas and is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
Andrea B. Mayfield
Principal and co-founder of the ELI Group, Andrea Mayfield is a master at bringing the best out of senior leaders. She provides solutions-oriented executive coaching and top talent programs to help her clients achieve excellence. Andrea is a nationally sought-after executive coach, consultant and keynote speaker on the topics of leadership impact, organizational culture and building a collaborative workplace. She co-authored The Thin Book of® Naming Elephants which was written to illustrate the need for organizations to create candid dialogue which leverages good ideas and airs bad news.
She has worked within very large, complex organizations such as NASA and American Airlines as well as fast-paced, entrepreneurial settings at Mary Kay Inc. Her ability to develop and maintain authentic and impactful relationships has served her well as these companies became long-time clients of The ELI Group. She continues to build strong client relationships with executives and their organizations across multiple industries.
Andrea also founded the ELI Group’s DFW Talent Nexus, a professional organization designed to stimulate discussion and thinking for seasoned human resource professionals on how to develop and align their top talent with organizational goals, while providing a venue for valuable professional networking opportunities.
She has served on the faculty of the Institute of Management Studies and on the Advisory Council for Master of Science in Human Resource Management at the University of Texas at Arlington. Andrea earned her B.A. in Psychology at Dickinson College, and her M.A. in Community Counseling from the University of Maryland. She also holds an Organization Development Certificate from Georgetown University.
