Principal and co-founder of the ELI Group, Andrea Mayfield is a master at bringing the best out of senior leaders. She provides solutions-oriented executive coaching and top talent programs to help her clients achieve excellence. Andrea is a nationally sought-after executive coach and consultant on the topics of leadership impact, executive development, organizational culture and building a collaborative workplace.
She has worked within very large, complex organizations such as NASA and American Airlines as well as fast-paced, entrepreneurial settings at Mary Kay Inc. Her ability to develop and maintain authentic and impactful relationships has served her well as these companies became long-time clients of The ELI Group. She continues to build strong client relationships with executives and their organizations across multiple industries.
Andrea also founded the ELI Group's DFW Talent Nexus, a professional organization designed to stimulate discussion and thinking for seasoned human resource professionals on how to develop and align their top talent with organizational goals, while providing a venue for valuable professional networking opportunities. She co-authored The Thin Book of® Naming Elephants which was written to illustrate the need for organizations to create candid dialogue which leverages good ideas and airs bad news.
She has served on the faculty of the Institute of Management Studies and on the Advisory Council for Master of Science in Human Resource Management at the University of Texas at Arlington. Andrea earned her B.A. in Psychology at Dickinson College, and her M.A. in Community Counseling from the University of Maryland. She also holds an Organization Development Certificate from Georgetown University.
