Who We AreAndrea B. Mayfield Andrea has proven skills in organization development, change management, leadership development, and executive meeting facilitation. Her principal focus is working with leaders at all levels to identify, plan and pursue development needs for themselves and the organization. Her broad experience was developed through internal consulting work within a high technology/government environment at NASA, within a retail/sales organization at Mary Kay Cosmetics and within the transportation industry at American Airlines. This combination of internal experiences has equipped her with an understanding of very large, complex organizations as well as fast-paced, entrepreneurial settings. Andrea’s consulting services include confidential assistance in evaluating systems, designing strategies for change, and implementing interventions. Demonstrated skills in organizational change include performing organizational diagnoses, designing and managing organization interventions, and developing and managing collaborative consultant-client relationships. In the individual/leadership development arena, she designs, manages and evaluates individual and system-wide career development programs. She serves as an Executive Coach to executives in a variety of industries and has built high potential development programs in large organizations. Andrea provides executive meeting facilitation and off-site design & delivery. Strong facilitation skills have resulted in effective off-sites/executive meetings, training and counseling with groups and individuals. This work involves providing assistance in defining goals, setting agendas, and actively facilitating the meeting to maximize effectiveness and outcome. With her academic background in counseling, Andrea professionally facilitates emotionally charged and conflicted settings with a high degree of confidence and success. Andrea has an Organization Development Certificate from Georgetown University, a M.A. in Community Counseling from the University of Maryland and a B.A. in Psychology from Dickinson College. Andrea and Sue Hammond’s new book, The Thin Book of® Naming Elephants, was released in August, 2004. The book is designed to help people surface undiscussables for greater organizational success. Christina D. Williams, Ph.D. Dr. Christina D. Williams has been helping organizations function more effectively for over fifteen years. She consults to senior executives in accelerating business strategies through executive coaching, succession planning, senior team development, and organizational change management. She has experience in a wide array of industries including manufacturing, retail, healthcare, high tech, energy / electric utilities, law enforcement, and government agencies. She works with organizations ranging from small entrepreneurial firms to large Fortune 500 companies. Prior to founding Atiara Group in 2006, she was Managing Director for RHR International. While at RHR, she worked extensively in the areas of leadershipassessment, selection and development. Prior to joining RHR International, Dr. Williams was a corporate psychologist for Kaiser Permanente. In that capacity, she consulted with Kaiser executives on issues involving executive development, succession planning and organizational change efforts. She has also served on the faculty of San Francisco State University teaching courses in Industrial / Organizational Psychology and Leadership Selection & Assessment. Dr. Williams received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington.She received her Master’s degree and Ph.D. in Industrial / Organizational Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley. She is a licensed psychologist in the state of Texas and is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. She serves on Advisory Boards for The Nature Conservancy of North Texas and the University of Texas at Dallas Executive Education Program.
